Martinelli made his long-awaited return during the 2-1 defeat to Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday. The Brazilian had been out of action since since June after requiring knee surgery following an injury he picked up in training.
But Martinelli finally appears to be back to full fitness, and could start in the quarter-final clash against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening.
The Gunners have been extremely limp in front of goal this season, and the 19-year-old’s return has left many excited for a revival in the Arsenal attack.
