Premier League referee and current video assistant referee Mike Dean has promised to congratulate Anthony Taylor for his 'superb performance' at Anfield.
His comments come after fans of both Liverpool and Manchester City called out the lenient refereeing style - but Gary Neville said the approach 'was really good'.

"His approach to refereeing this high-pressure Premier League match only added to the spectacle.
