Peter Crouch deliberately crashed go-kart into team-mate for good of Liverpool squad

And Crouch was presented with the difficult decision of what Reds player to potentially injure ahead of the ensuing final in Athens when his brakes gave way.The former striker had to decide who was more valuable to the Reds' pursuit of European glory out of team-mates Xabi Alonso and Dirk Kuyt before his go-kart spiralled out of control.
Crouch shared the hilarious tale on talkSPORT where he explained: "Just before the Champions League final, we were in Spain or Portugal and went go-karting!
Everyone had stopped in the pits and as I came in, I came in fast obviously for a bit of fun, my brakes had gone. No brakes.
