Michael Schumacher living with "consequences" in rare health update from F1 boss Jean Todt

Daily Star's biggest headlines straight to your inbox!Michael Schumacher "survived" but is living with the "consequences" of his 2013 skiing accident, F1 boss Jean Todt has said.Seven-time world champion Schumacher was skiing in the French Alps eight years ago when he suffered a devastating head injury and had to be air-lifted to a hospital in Grenoble.After undergoing two surgeries, the Ferrari hero was placed in a medically induced coma for six months to help reduce swelling in his brain.

He was then moved to another hospital in Switzerland after coming out of his coma in 2014 before eventually being allowed to return to his Lake Geneva home.
