Love Island star Rachel Finni says 'everyone is given a character' on ITV show
Love Island came to an end to talk about the latest villa gossip. When asked who she thought was going to get to the final she said: "It’s hard to answer if anyone could go to the final, as someone who's been on the show and knows how it works, everyone gets a character."There’s a broken-hearted person, a joker, that depends who is going to win."People's characters change, it’s not necessarily them, it’s the show."I think everyone brings something to the table, everyone shares a purpose."We’ve still got a lot of time to fall in love with certain islanders and make opinions of them, I will just say as someone who has been on the show just take everything you say with a pinch of salt because you're not seeing everything." In the interview Rachel also responded to the slew of apologies by her former co-stars after a comment was made about her online.Last Wednesday (June 8), ex-Islanders Brad McClelland, Tyler Cruickshank, Aaron Francis and Jake Cornish appeared on a joint Instagram Live together where they took part in brief Q&A from their loyal legion of fans.During the catch-up, the group were discussing the subject of bombshells entering the villa on the ITV dating show when Brad read out a message which said: “Rachel, not a bombshell.”Brad, who was with Rachel for a brief time on the show back in 2021, read the comment out before he burst out laughing, adding that he “wasn’t into her”, despite their brief coupling. When she was asked about the cruel jokes made about her during the video, she claimed the clip revealed the group’s “true colours”.She said: “I’m over it. I said what I said, they said what they said.
