Men express feeling sad over break ups online more than women, study finds

breakups before they’re 30, reports the Metro.But, it seems that men may find heartbreak more painful after splitting up than women.A team of psychologists at Lancaster University conducted a “big data” analysis of relationship problems looking at the demographic and psychological profiles of 184,000 people.The participants anonymously shared their relationship problems on online forums which gave the scientists a varied and diverse spread of people to investigate the general population.Charlotte Entwistle, lead author of the study, said: “Most of what we know about relationship problems comes from studies of people in couples therapy, which includes a rather specific subset of people—people who have the time, money, and motive to work on.
