Police are investigating after men tried to rob a delivery driver at gunpoint in Bolton. Officers were called to the Morrisons Daily store in Brownlow Way on Monday morning (January 16) following reports of two men trying to rob a delivery driver at gunpoint.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) also confirmed that there are no reported injuries. A GMP spokesman said: "Police were called around 7.15am to a business premises on Brownlow Way, Bolton following a report of a robbery and a male with a firearm on 16 January 2022. "Enquiries have established two men attempted to rob a delivery driver and threatened him with a firearm. "A woman later attempted to intervene and the men subsequently threatened her with the gun.
