A police helicopter was deployed to track down a car amid 'concerns for the safety of a woman'. Officers stopped the car on the M60 near Ashton-under-Lyne yesterday (Sunday) after a caller reported a potential kidnapping.
The caller said they believed they had spotted a man forcing a woman into the car on Cobblers Cross Lane in Tarporley, in Cheshire, police said.

A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said enquiries were carried out and the pair - who were known to each other - were spoken to.
