McDonald's to reopen 200 stores for walk-in customers as breakfast menu finally returns

McDonald's has announced plans to reopen 200 high street branches - allowing customers to pick up orders in person, following a trial at 11 service stations this week.

The chain said branches across England and Ireland will reopen to the public from Wednesday - allowing those unable to order via car or UberEats, the chance to pick up a takeaway.

A McDonald's spokesman said entry numbers will be restricted when stores reopen and staff will be monitoring doors to ensure social distancing.
