George Clooney has commented on Taylor Swift endorsing Kamala Harris in the race for the next President of the United States.The US presidential election is approaching in November.

Harris is the Democratic candidate – having replaced Joe Biden on July 22 – running against Donald Trump as the Republican option.Last week – following the first debate between Harris and Trump – Swift told fans in that she will be voting for the current Vice President.

She explained it was “because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,” and believed more can be accomplished in the US “if we are led by calm and not chaos”.While on the red carpet for the LA premiere of his upcoming film Wolfs, Clooney backed Swift’s choice, calling it “beautiful”, while talking to the Associated Press. “What a beautiful thing to do,” he continued. “She’s a real phenomenon right now and it’s exciting to see all these young people really engaged in the national discourse.
