"The new 40 second advert highlights the pure excitement felt across the nation as McDonald’s reopens for take-away, Drive-thru and McDelivery, and customers embrace their favourite McDonald’s rituals," McDonald's said in a statement.It opens with a little girl anxiously pressed up against her window watching for her McDelivery to arrive - followed by the anticipation and joy as her McDonald’s arrives.Figures released by the burger chain to accompany the new ad show people have genuinely been missing their McD's.Some 16% of customers said their first post-lockdown McDonald's was better than getting a promotion at work, almost one in five said it made.
