Johnny Depp has handed out handwritten thank you notes and bandanas to fans who have been supporting him outside court throughout his libel trial.

Depp, 57, is suing News Group Newspapers for libel over a story published in The Sun in 2018 which branded him a "wife beater" - an allegation he denies.

The case has gone on for 16 days but is expected to conclude this afternoon. Every day, London's High Court has been surrounded by fans who have waved and cheered the actor, and handed him gifts and flowers.

He has now repaid them by handing out brown envelopes to all the fans outside court today. The package included a handwritten note thanking them for their support as well as a black and white bandana, similar to the ones he has been
