Four McDonald's branches in Bury have reopened their drive-thrus this morning. The fast food giant announced earlier that its outlets at Woodfields Retail Park, Pilsworth, Radcliffe and Whitefield would all reopen to customers at 11am.
However, the branch on The Rock will remain closed for now. Customers will only be able to choose from a limited menu of items, with just one order per car and purchases capped at £25.
It is more than two months since McDonald's decided to completely shut all of its UK restaurants as the coronavirus outbreak worsened.
In May, the chain announced that it would be reopening 15 restaurants for delivery only. Yesterday, 68 of McDonald's UK branches reopened, including four in Bolton.
