Mason Greenwood has deleted his Twitter account in the aftermath of his expulsion from the England squad. The Manchester United star is at the centre of an FA investigation after breaching coronavirus protocols by leaving the Three Lions' bio-secure bubble in Iceland after the Nations League clash.
Greenwood and England teammate Phil Foden allegedly met with two women in another area of the hotel in which the squad was staying.
The pair have been fined by Icelandic police and now face further punishment by England boss Gareth Southgate and the FA. 18-year-old Greenwood enjoyed a stunning breakout season with the Red Devils last campaign, scoring 17 goals across all competitions and cementing himself as a regular starter.
