She then underwent a technique which removed it bit by bit, explaining that although the cancer looked tiny to her, it had spread "quite a distance" below the surface of her skin.The operation left her with a large hole in her nose, but this was resolved by reconstructive surgery, which she had to repair the damage.Lauren continued: "Once the cancer was removed I had the amazing Dr Ilias Kotronakis perform #flaprepair surgery to reconstruct my nose after it was left with a nice big hole!..."I remember crying so much but then thinking far out I'm lucky I caught it when I did or I might not have a nose at all or even worse might not be here today to tell this story!".
