Manchester United are reportedly targeting a move for Dayot Upamecano after Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was told there is no money for transfers this month.Klopp is believed to be eager to strengthen his back-line following major injuries to Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez.Liverpool have struggled in recent weeks and were this week beaten by Burnley for their first home Premier League loss in almost four years.They take on Manchester United in the FA Cup on Sunday but could also be facing a battle with the Red Devils off the pitch.The Sunday Mirror report that United will go head-to-head with Liverpool in a transfer battle for Upamecano.It’s claimed that United could steal a march on their rivals as early as this month with Klopp being told.
