Liverpool are “waiting in the wings” for PSG star Kylian Mbappe as they watch Real Madrid struggle with finances in their attempts to attract the forward.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have been linked with a move for the World Cup winner since last summer, with the German keen on working with the 22-year-old.
They are facing competition from Madrid, though, as the forward has expressed a desire to leave the French champions as well as praising manager Zinedine Zidane.
But Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo have reported that the Reds are willing to let their rivals falter with negotiations for the forward due to financial struggles.
