Manchester United's European dreams were ended this week as they lost to Sevilla in the Europa League semi-finals. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side spurned a 1-0 lead to extend their trophy drought to three years - their joint longest run in over thirty years.
The Norwegian's first full year in charge has led to plenty of optimism despite three cup semi-final defeats. Solskjaer deemed several players surplus to requirements in his first summer and some of them could now go on to win Europe's top competitions.
Inter Milan will take on Sevilla in the Europa League Final on Friday night while PSG booked their place in the Champions League Final.
