The German himself is understood to have intervened as preparations for United's final game of the season - a subsequent 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace - were far from ideal.According to The Sun, United's squad were left 'stunned' after two of the club's players were embroiled in a 'full-on scrap' as tempers boiled over.
It has now been claimed by the Daily Mail that the two players in question were in fact left-back Telles and young midfielder Hannibal.The incident reportedly brought training at United's Carrington complex to a temporary halt as the rest of the club's players were ordered to return to the changing rooms.
The ugly episode is somewhat symbolic of United's disastrous season, which has seen the club register the lowest Premier League points tally in their history.The incident came days before the Red Devils were hammered 4-0 in their penultimate Premier League game of the season against Brighton.
