As Manchester United’s summer signings continue to settle at Old Trafford, focus behind-the-scenes has switched to potential January additions.
While the Reds have secured some impressive results in recent weeks, this season has shown the need for further investment in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad.
Solskjaer will be relieved that international football has been put to bed until March, but with Premier League and Champions League games coming thick and fast, and the Carabao Cup and FA Cup set to add to their intense fixture schedule, one or two winter additions would not go amiss.
A few members of Solskjaer’s squad are also expected to leave in January in order to free up space in the squad for possible new arrivals.
