Fire crews from Rochdale, the Water Incident Unit from Heywood, the turntable ladder and support from Manchester Central and the Technical Response Unit from Ashton were called to South Parade in Rochdale Town Centre this morning at 7.11am (September 10).
The man was rescued from the water of the River Roch using rope equipment and a ladder before being taken to hospital.
