Traffic officers from Greater Manchester Police stopped an uninsured vehicle, only to discover that the driver was also disqualified.
Greater Manchester Police caught the driver during patrols in Rochdale, and he has been remanded in police custody until the next available court date.
The vehicle has been taken off the road. The arrest is one of the latest captures under Operation Drive Insured, a national initiative that aims to reduce the number of uninsured vehicles on the road.
Police forces across the country are taking part in the operation, and will be putting out extra patrols to catch vehicles driving without insurance.
