Manchester City are reportedly lining up a move for Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey if, as expected, Leroy Sane leaves the club to join Bayern Munich.
Sane - who has not featured since August after suffering knee ligament damage in City's Community Shield win over Liverpool - has been long linked with Bayern, and it is expected that he will seal a move when the transfer window re-opens.
Although City already have a wealth of attacking options, Pep Guardiola would still be keen to add another wide threat if Sane moves on to add to the likes of Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez.
And according to the Daily Mail the club are closely monitoring Bailey's progress, and have liked what they've seen from the youngster.
