Leroy Sane’s future at Manchester City remains uncertain. The German international has just one year remaining on his current contract at the Etihad Stadium and there is no sign of a new deal being signed anytime soon.
With Bayern Munich heavily linked with the winger, it is possible that City could decide to cash in this summer instead of risking the 24-year-old leaving for nothing next season.
There have already been reports as to who Pep Guardiola will target as a replacement should Sane leave the club this summer, with Bayer Leverkusen’s Leon Bailey being the latest name to be linked.
City have already had to cope for the 2019/20 season without Sane in their squad after he suffered a cruciate ligament rupture in the Community Shield
