Man banned from entering 'every self-service retail establishment' in town centre

For the latest news from in and around Wigan sign up to the MyWigan newsletter here A man has been given a court order prohibiting him from entering a number of shopping centres in Wigan for a year.

Kelvin Sharratt, of no fixed abode, appeared at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court on Thursday (May 27) for persistent anti-social behaviour.

In court, he was issued with a 12 month Community Order alongside a Criminal Behaviour Order. The orders prevent Mr Sharratt from entering 'every self-service retail establishment' in Wigan town centre for the next 12 months.

These include The Grand Arcade, The Galleries Shopping Centre and Wigan Market Hall. Greater Manchester Police revealed brief details of Mr Sharratt's court appearance on its Wigan
