Ed Sheeran

Edward Christopher Sheeran, MBE (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project. After signing with Asylum Records, his debut album, + (pronounced "plus"), was released in September 2011. It topped the UK and Australian charts, reached number five in the US, and has since been certified eight-times platinum in the UK.

The album contains the single "The A Team", which earned him the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. In 2012, Sheeran won the Brit Awards for Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. "The A Team" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards, where he performed the song with Elton John.

Loose Women star Brenda Edwards has issued a statement following the death of her son Jamal Edwards.The 31-year-old YouTube star sadly passed away on Sunday following a sudden illness.He gained fame after setting up the new music platform SBTV, which helped to launch a string of UK music careers including Dave, Ed Sheeran, and Jessie J.Susanna Reid read out a statement from former X Factor contestant Brenda during Monday's edition of Good Morning Britain.It stated: "It is with deepest heartache that I confirm that my beautiful son Jamal Edwards passed away yesterday morning after a sudden illness."Myself, his sister and the rest of his family and friends are completely devastated.

He was the centre of our world."As we come to terms with the passing we ask for privacy to grieve this unimaginable loss."I would like to thank everyone for their messages of love and support."Jamal was an inspiration to myself and so many.
