The song will appear on her upcoming as-yet-untitled debut solo project, due out on April 13.In the accompanying visual, Yeeun sings pensive new single while a clip of waves in the ocean is projected onto her.

CLC member Sorn has revealed that members of the K-pop girl group continue to keep in touch despite their inactivity.The Thai K-pop idol recently uploaded a Q&A video on YouTube where she answered questions sent in by fans. One asked if she still keeps in contact with fellow CLC member Yujin, who has since gone on to re-debut in Kep1er, following a successful appearance on the reality TV programme Girls’ Planet 999.Sorn revealed in the video that she is still in fact in contact with Yujin, adding that just last month, she had “a quick date with Yujin and a couple of my [fellow CLC] members”.“She is now in Japan doing her Kep1er stuff,” she added.

CLC singer Seunghee has left long-time label CUBE Entertainment after nine years with the company.CLC’s Seunghee has been represented by CUBE Entertainment since 2015 both as a musician and actress. The company announced earlier today (March 20) that her contract with the label has since expired and has since left the company after nearly a decade with the K-pop agency.“We at CUBE Entertainment inform you that our exclusive contract with actor Oh Seung-hee, who has been with us for 9 years since March 2015, has ended,” reads the statement, which was released on the official X (formerly Twitter) account for the company’s subdivision for actors.“We express our deepest gratitude to Oh Seung-hee, who has displayed endless passion and talent as an artist under CUBE,” the label added.

CLC singer Sorn has dropped a brand-new special single titled ‘cool’, in celebration of Valentine’s Day.The bubbly new track was released earlier today (February 9) alongside its accompanying music video, and notably marks the Thai soloist’s first music of 2024.According to her statement in a press release for the song, Sorn describes the song as a “confession” to “someone I developed a crush on”. She also notes that it’s her “first time writing and releasing a song about love.”“It’s cool, I like you like I do / Won’t keep you in the blue / Talk to me baby, it’s cool,” she sings on the song’s upbeat chorus.‘cool’ marks Sorn’s sixth digital single since she signed with WILD Entertainment Group, having previously released other tracks such as ‘Not A Friend’, ‘Scorpio’ and ‘Nirvana Girl’, for which she reunited and collaborated with CLC bandmates Yeeun and Seungyeon.While information about her forthcoming debut mini-album has been scarce, she did reveal in a video uploaded to her personal YouTube channel that the record will draw heavy influences from the early 2000s.

CLC singer Sorn has released her fourth solo single ‘Nirvana Girl’ alongside a music video featuring bandmates Yeeun and Seungyeon.The new dance-pop track was released on September 15 alongside a music video featuring all three former members of the seven-piece CUBE Entertainment girl group, who disbanded in May this year.Yeeun performs her rap verse in the video, while Seungyeon, who is not credited on the song itself, makes an appearance alongside Sorn on a dancefloor. “I’m on my way to be Nirvana girl, a newer better me / Out of this world, enlightened and free / Nirvana girl, that’s what I’m gonna be,” Sorn sings on the liberatory chorus.Speaking to NME on her creative process behind ‘Nirvana Girl’, Sorn shared that she drew inspiration from a visit to a temple.

CUBE Entertainment has announced that K-pop girl group CLC‘s official activities as an act have ended.The South Korean entertainment label published a notice earlier today (May 20), announcing the impending termination of the K-pop girl group’s fanclub forum, named CLC U CUBE.In the notice, the label attributed the reason for its closure to the conclusion of CLC’s activities as a group. This is notably the first time the label have confirmed that the girl group are no longer active as a K-pop act, following CLC’s long absence.“First of all, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all of you for always loving and supporting CLC over the last seven years,” wrote CUBE Entertainment.

Sorn has opened up about her current relationship with her former CLC members, following her departure from the girl group in 2021.In a recent interview with Elle Magazine Singapore, Sorn spoke about what it was like to leave the group after spending almost her entire career with them. The Thai-born K-pop idol also opened up about the difficulties she has faced as a solo artist, compared to having a groupmates to fall back on.“It was kind of awkward to go from working with six other people to working by yourself, and sometimes it was quite lonely – to be on stage by myself, to film things by myself,” Sorn explained.The singer later opened up about how had it was to find her musical direction and identity after going solo.

Girls Planet 999 contestant Fu Yaning has spoken out about her viral diss of Yujin from K-pop girl group CLC.Earlier this year, South Korean television network Mnet had released a teaser for its recently concluded reality TV series Girls Planet 999, where Fu had been asked to “say a word” to fellow contestant Yujin of CLC.Fu then dissed Yujin, rapping “We go up, but you don’t”, in reference to the CLC song ‘Helicopter’.

CLC member Elkie Chong has spoken out against her former agency CUBE Entertainment, revealing the reason behind her departure from the group and the company.In a new interview with Hong Kong newspaper Ming Bao, the singer said that she felt there was “no reason” to remain in CLC after their agency had stopped providing support to the group. Chong also cited the lengthy delays between their releases and accused the company of “taking away” the group’s opportunities.“When the company said it would no longer be investing resources into CLC, I felt that there was no reason to stay on,” Chong said.
