Lanarkshire police have issued a description of a male suspect who assaulted and tried to rob a taxi driver in Cumbernauld.The stunned male driver was approached by a man while he was parked in at the bus stop on Blackthorn Road, at Rowan Road, at around 12.30am on Sunday, October 29.The man assaulted the driver and demanded he hand over money.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
