Man arrested for attempted murder after horror shopping centre stabbing released without charge

Police were called to Middleton Shopping Centre on Saturday afternoon (August 14) following reports that a man had received five stab wounds.

A man in his 40s was rushed to hospital in a 'serious but non-life-threatening condition, according to officers.
