A man has been arrested after police were forced to evacuate a Salford street over a suspected 'grenade' found inside a house.
Emergency services descended on New Street, Swinton, last night (November 1) after police had been dealing with another incident.
Officers had been called out over concerns for the welfare of a man, before finding what was believed to be a grenade at around 8pm.
