Man airlifted to hospital after horror two-car smash on Scots road

dailyrecord.co.ukhospital after a crash in Fife sparked a huge emergency response. Emergency crews were called to a two vehicle crash on Golf Course Road in Glenrothes after the alarm was raised at around 3.25pm on Monday.
Locals watched on in horror and speculated that an 'air ambulance landed on Glenrothes Golf Course' as police sealed off the area to other motorists.
On Monday evening police confirmed that one man was airlifted to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.The nature of his injuries, his age and current medical condition are not known at this stage.The types of vehicles involved, whether then man was a driver, passenger or pedestrian or any further circumstances surrounding the crash were not disclosed.Officers re-opened Golf Course Road just after.
