Dog dies and man injured after crash between car and lorry on Scots road
dailyrecord.co.ukA dog has died and a man was injured following a crash in Ayrshire.The incident took place around 9.30am on Friday October 15 on Ladywell Avenue, Girvin, near to the junction with the B741.It involved a car and a heavy goods vehicle.As a result of the crash, the male driver of the car was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.Sadly a dog which was also in the car died as a result of its injuries.Police in Ayrshire are appealing for information and witnesses.Sergeant Craig Beaver said: “We’re aware there were a number of other vehicles in the area around the time of the crash, so are appealing to anyone with information to come forward."We are also keen to speak with any motorists with potential dashcam footage.“An
