I am now able to help those who need it the most," she added.She concluded her message, saying: "I lost years of my life battling with this illness in my own head because I didn’t understand, or know what it was.

It’s time to educate everyone."April's beauty and support work was solidified when she was crowned Miss Great Britain in 2020, a title she held for 18 months due to Covid.
