Large stretches of the M25 have been closed due to flash flooding. The motorway has been shut between J7 and J7 near Reigate in the clockwise direction.

A further three of four lanes are shut going anti-clockwise, while the M23 southbound is also closed from J7 to J8. The source of what is amounting to huge delays is flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

Images from the M25 show some cars stranded in the standing water, while queues are very heavy on approach to the flooding. Are you stuck on either motorway?
