Lynn Faulds Wood has died aged 72.The former Watchdog presenter and cancer campaigner died after suffering from a stroke.Her family have confirmed the news in a statement, which read: "Having suffered a massive stroke last night and a subsequent bleed on the brain, presenter and journalist Lynn Faulds Wood passed away peacefully at 12 noon today with her husband John Stapleton and son Nick at her bedside.”The journalist was best known for hosting Watchdog from 1985 to 1993.Lynn presented the BBC show alongside her husband John for seven of those years.She then returned to the programme in 2014.During her first stint on the programme Lynn survived advanced bowel cancer.The presenter, who also survived skin cancer, was then inspired to set up.
