Loyal dog found waiting for owner who 'jumped off bridge in Wuhan' days after death

dog was found waiting for its owner a week after they reportedly jumped to their death. Heartbreaking images recently show the pup waiting by a bridge in Wuhan, where the coronavirus first emerged at the end of last year.

The poor pup had reportedly been waiting at the spot for up to a week.The mongrel was first discovered by staff doing repairs on the bridge on June one, the morning after the reported jump.According to the Wuhan Small Animal Protection Association (SAPA), a local resident, named as Mr Xu, attempted to help the pooch on June 5.

He tried to feed the dog, but it refused water and did not move when called.Images show the loyal dog staring longing at the river through a section of the bridge balustrades, from which local police.
