The film’s crew are now said to be out of work with losses speculated to potentially exceed seven figures.Unconfirmed speculation suggests that Phoenix’s decision is related to the graphic nature of the sex scenes in the film.

With Tuesday’s grosses included, the current total on the Shawn Levy-directed smash is $879.2M, of which $421M comes from domestic and $458.2M from the international box office. When today’s figures are tallied, the global total is expected to cross that nine-century milestone.
