Emmerdale actor Ash Palmisciano has sadly announced his mother has passed away.The star, who is best known for playing Matty Barton in the ITV soap, took to Instagram on Sunday to share the news of his mum's death.Paying tribute to his mum, the 32-year-old posted a photo of them together in a sunny location smiling at the camera.He then told his 27,700 followers the heartbreaking news of her death.Ash said: "Still can’t believe you’re not with us mum," he started in the caption. Emmerdale star Michael Parr would 'love to play James Bond' as 007 odds race ramps up
Emmerdale star Michael Parr has declared that he'd "love to be Bond" as the race to become the next 007 ramps up.The 35-year-old actor, who first appeared on the ITV soap as Ross Barton in 2013, made the confession to his nearly 250,000 Instagram followers.Parr was actually reacting to rumours linking him to a different acting job. He shared a post from another Instagram user which read: "There's strong rumours on social media that Emmerdale actor Michael Parr will be playing the role of Paul Sykes in the forthcoming film, I'm saying nowt but he's a good look-a-like isn't he?!" Paul Sykes was a notorious British heavyweight boxer who spent much of his adult life in prison and a film about his life is supposedly in the works.The Instagram user also shared an image of Parr donning a Sykes-like moustache, bearing an uncanny resemblance to the well-known Yorkshireman.Sharing the post, Parr himself wrote: "This is actually my dream role."Obviously I'd love to be Bond one day but this is what I would be most excited about playing."Parr, who also played Bill Parker in Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, will have to beat some stiff competition if he is to one day secure the coveted Bond role.
