Prince Andrew would 'shout and scream' if maids touched his teddy bears
Prince Andrew would have raging temper tantrums and "shout and scream" if maids rearranged the 60-odd teddy bears piled on top of his bed, an ITV documentary claims.Former member of the Royal Protection Command Paul Page, told journalist Ranvir Singh about the prince's weird attachment to the collection of stuffed toys on the documentary, Ghislaine, Prince Andrew and the Paedophile. The ex-royal copper, who provided security for the Royal Family between 1998 and 2004 and who had access to the duke's apartment, alleges that the Queen's favourite son had a bed piled high with "50 to 60" stuffed teddy bears.Page also claims Prince Andrew, who was recently stripped of his military and royal titles, would fly into fits of rage if he saw that the stuffed toys were out of place after the maids had been in the room.Page said: “It had about 50 or 60 stuffed toys positioned on the bed and basically there was a card the inspector showed us in a drawer and it was a picture of these bears all in situ.“The reason for the laminated picture was if those bears weren’t put back in the right order by the maids, he would shout and scream.”These are not the only teddy bears the disgraced duke allegedly owns. In 2009, journalist Elizabeth Day interviewed the Queen's middle son at his Buckingham Palace apartment.
