Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliott is ‘likely to benefit most’ after the Reds missed out on Timo Werner.Jurgen Klopp’s side were strongly linked with a move for the German forward in recent months before Chelsea came knocking and sealed a deal with RB Leipzig.The 17-year-old has been given first team opportunities under Klopp this term and is set to push on next season as the Reds aim to defend their Premier League title.And according to The Athletic, Werner’s failed move to Anfield will be good news for Elliott.Since arriving from Fulham a year ago, the Liverpool coaching staff have been left ‘excited about his rich potential’.Elliott has made eight league appearances for the Reds this term but with Adam Lallana and Xherdan Shaqiri both.
