Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is unlikely to play at this year’s summer Olympics in Tokyo, with his club expecting the player to be a part of their full pre-season schedule.Manager Jurgen Klopp believes that those players not participating at Euro 2020 or the Copa America should be available for pre-season training on July 12.The club have already rejected France’s request to allow new signing Ibrahima Konate play at the Games next month, and while there isn’t any policy preventing players from doing so, Salah is not expected to go to Japan.The Olympics allow for three players over the age of 24 in every squad and the Egypt FA’s president Ahmed Megahed believes Salah will contact Liverpool this week to see his chances.The Games run from July.
