Lewis Hamilton has finally signed his new Mercedes contract believed to be worth £40million.The seven-time world champion's deal with the all-conquering Silver Arrows expired on the final day of December.Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff indicated at the end of January that a resolution was not forthcoming, admitting to arguing with his star driver on Zoom over the terms of his latest deal.It was understood that Hamilton was holding out for a three-year deal, while the Silver Arrows were reluctant to agree to those terms.But rather than a three-year deal, Hamilton is just confirmed for the 2021 season.
The two parties have finally come to an agreement, with Hamilton's mega-money contract now confirmed ahead of the new season which gets.
