Lewis Hamilton has returned to social media for the first time since his heartbreak at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix last December.The seven-time F1 world champion made his comeback in a Mercedes clip to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
Hamilton can be seen sporting a new haircut alongside new Silver Arrows team-mate George Russell in a video which has been shared on Chinese social media site Weibo.In the video, Hamilton looks at the camera and says: "Hi everyone, I wish you a Happy Chinese New Year.
May the New Year bring you good luck and everything you wish for.Russell then adds: "Hi guys. I’d like to wish you a Happy Chinese New Year.
I’m excited to join the AMG family and become part of the world’s fastest family. See you soon and stay safe."Hamilton has kept a low profile since his nightmare in the Middle East two months ago, vanishing from social media.The 37-year-old appeared set to win a record-breaking eighth title before the race at the Yas Marina Circuit descended into farce.
