Residents in Leicester have spoken of their confusion as the lockdown boundaries come into force. The East Midlands city has become the first in the country to have a local lockdown following a worrying spike in coronavirus cases.
It means pubs, restaurants, hairdressers and other non-essential businesses in Leicester will remain shut unlike the rest of the country from July 4.
Residents have been told to stay at home, with schools and shops to shut this week with the city being one of the country's Covid-19 epicentres.
