Leeds and West Brom will be waiting with bated breath after the Eredivisie became the first European league to blink in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Dutch authorities announced the end of the current campaign on Friday night claiming "it has become impossible to play out the 2019-20 season".
UEFA released a statement this week stating, were the season unable to draw to a natural conclusion, that would allow national authorities to make decisions on the league's final standings.
KNVB, who run Dutch football, subsequently chose not to end the 2019/20 season when pushed to make a decision by a club vote.
