A group of Lanarkshire activists have inspired world delegates after speaking at COP26. The Dovesdale Action Group, who have been campaigning against controversial plans to build an incinerator at Overwood Farm, were invited to speak at the global event last week.
They joined forces with representatives from Belgium, Ghana, the USA, Spain and Chile to discuss the consequences of plastic pollution and the impact it has on local communities and further afield.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
