READ MORE Teacher arrested after making chilling 'kill list' of students and colleagues But he only got away with the house keys after the homeowner snatched the blade of the knife from him and cut himself in the process.Anthony had been out of jail for exactly a month, having just been released early from a 29-month sentence for a burglary in Sussex in 2020.He was identified by DNA but went on to burgle a pensioner's home and steal his car, which he crashed into a ditch a mile away.Anthony admitted aggravated burglary, burglary, and aggravated vehicle taking.He was jailed for seven years and six months by Judge Timothy Rose at Exeter Crown Court.He told him: "You entered a house in the early hours of the morning, armed yourself with a knife and went upstairs to an occupied bedroom where you confronted two people who were asleep."You were described as having your face partially covered.
