Keira Knightley has dropped out of her upcoming production following concerns about childcare. The 35-year-old star was due to star in the lead role of a new Gothic mystery with Apple TV+ but had to pull out for 'family reasons'.
Following her decision to pull out of filming for The Essex Serpent, the remaining cast were reportedly stood down and the show was put on 'hiatus'.
The mum of two - who shares daughters Edie, five, and Delilah, one, with husband James Righton - was set to play a character called Cora before production was halted.
A representative for Keira told the Mail Online that her decision to leave the production was linked to childcare concerns during the pandemic.
