Kate Middleton joins 'Dadvengers' support group for rainy stroll in the park

Kate Middleton left a group of devoted fathers 'in shock' after she braved the rain to take a stroll through a park in London with them to emphasise the important role they play in their children's lives.The future Queen met with members of the 'Dadvengers' group yesterday, which is a community that was founded in 2019 for fathers and their kids that works to support men on their journey through parenthood.

The Princess of Wales picked up a pair of maracas to participate in a singalong session as members of the group told Kate that meeting up together helped them to ‘share their feelings’.After telling the group that she did not 'mind going out in the rain', Kate, the fathers and their kids walked through Arnos Park, north London, on November 1 where they took the youngsters to a playground.The parenting group has a strong focus on mental wellbeing and supports new fathers through online training programmes, podcasts and 'dad walks', the Mirror reports.The mum-of-three told the dads that it was ‘important people know the value of family time’ and that it was ‘important to highlight this type of occasion’.Founder of the group, Nigel Clarke, is known for his work on The Baby Club on BBC's CBeebies and admitted that the members were 'in shock' after Kate's visit.

He added: "They were amazed she's taken the time to come and visit a group like this. We discussed how it's important to have groups and spaces like this.
