The GMB host, 53, has been juggling visiting husband Derek in hospital, looking after her children and returning to work over the last few weeks.
Derek woke up from his coma last month after contracting coronavirus in March, but Kate has said that it's still a long road ahead for his recovery.
Today, she revealed that Derek was currently undergoing therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE). Kate and co-star Ben Shephard later spoke to Naughty Boy about caring for his mum, who has dementia, during the pandemic.
